低層でありながら非常に密度の高い街並みの中に挿入された、典型的な都市型住宅です。敷地は北側と東側に接道を持つ角地に位置しますが、それぞれ幅員4Ｍと道幅が狭く敷地面積も小さい為、道路斜線により垂直方向への展開も難しい状況です。また、隣接する建物は全て3階建てオーバーであり、一般解で解釈すると住環境としてはあまり好ましくありません。このような厳しいロケーションにおいて、明るく風通しの良い4人家族の為の住宅を設計する事が要望されました。解決策として中庭・ルーバ－・グラデーション効果のあるガラスフィルムなどの採用により回答としました。
SINLEE / Inserted in the streets, yet very dense low-rise is a typical urban housing. The site is located on the corner with a connection to the road north and east, respectively 4M width for narrow roads and small land area, is also difficult road shaded by vertical expansion. The adjacent building is over all three floors, as interpreted by the living environment and not good general solution. In such a harsh location, it has been requested to design a house for a family of four bright and airy.
