兵庫県神戸市に建つエステティックサロン付きの住宅です。平坦な土地が広がる一角の造成地が建設地です。「三方道路の家」のタイトルが示すように、敷地はその四辺のうち三辺が道路に接するという恵まれたロケーションで、プログラムも二面性を持つ事から、見る角度によって印象の変わる二面性（或いは三面性）をもったデザインとなるよう心がけました。プランはＬ字型とし、建築と一体として扱われる高塀で囲われた中庭や水盤を内包するという計画で、この中に各種必要な諸室をコンパクト、且つ機能的にレイアウトするという極めてシンプルな計画です。
